Sungurlare wine valley
The valley behind Burgas that grows the region's white wine.
The Sungurlare valley — the Valley of the Roses' eastern neighbour — is one of Bulgaria's oldest white-wine districts, best known for Misket. Cellars run along the valley floor between the hills, several of them open to visitors by arrangement.
An hour from the beach you are in a farming valley with vines on both sides. Arrange the tasting in advance and take a driver who is not tasting.
