The middle of the Black Sea coast, where the Balkan range ends.
The Balkan mountains run the width of Bulgaria and stop here, dropping into the sea at a cape with a lighthouse, a ruined monastery and the village of Emona above it. The long-distance trail across the whole country ends at this point.
There is no resort, no café strip and no easy road — a rough track from Emona and then the cliff. The view along both coasts is the reason to come.
