Sunny Beach
The big resort strip — beds, bars and a long beach, 35 km north.
Sunny Beach is the Bulgarian coast at full volume: a very long sandy beach backed by a dense wall of hotels, bars and clubs. Nobody visits it for the architecture.
For contest week it matters for one reason: it has more beds than anywhere else on this coast, and it is a straightforward bus ride from Burgas.
