A protected cove almost at the border, with nothing built on it.
Silistar is a horseshoe of sand inside a protected area, reached by a short walk down from the road. There are no hotels behind it and no buildings on it — a rarity on any European coast.
Go for the water, which is clear and shallow, and for the fact that in May you may have it to yourself.
