A village on a low cliff with a good beach below it.
Lozenets is a former fishing village that grew into a low-key resort without losing its shape: one main street on the cliff, steps down to a wide beach, and rocks at either end for the surf.
It has the best-known beach bars on the southern coast and a reputation among Bulgarians rather than tour operators.
