Bulgaria's largest natural lake, on the western edge of the city.
Vaya — Lake Burgas on maps — is the largest natural lake in the country, freshwater and shallow, ringed with reeds. It is a birdwatching lake rather than a swimming one.
Access is from the western districts and the road that runs along its northern shore. Quiet, flat, and a very different Burgas from the beach.
