History Museum

How a fishing village became a port city, in one house.

The history house of the Regional Museum covers Burgas from the Ottoman settlement of Ahyolu through liberation in 1878, the opening of the port in 1903 and the twentieth-century city — photographs, documents and objects from the salt works and the fisheries.

Read it before you walk the centre and the streets make far more sense.
