A street in central Burgas on a bright day

The closest full supermarket to the pedestrian streets — water, breakfast and a bottle of wine without leaving the centre.

An Austrian chain that Bulgarians use for the weekly shop, and visitors use for the things a hotel room lacks. Prices are printed, so nothing has to be negotiated, and card payment is normal.

Between shows this is the sensible stop: a bottle of water costs a fraction of what a beach kiosk charges, and the bakery counter sells banitsa in the morning.
