Grill food and a bar in one room, which is exactly what you want at half past eleven when the arena has emptied and most Bulgarian kitchens have stopped taking orders. Meat off the fire, something cold to drink, no ceremony.

Not the place for a slow seafood dinner. It is the place for the meal after the meal, or for the night you decide to eat late and talk about the semi-final instead.

What to order

• Something off the grill, plus bread
• A kavarma if the wind has turned cold
• Local beer rather than an imported one — cheaper and better here
