Burgas Selected to Host Eurovision 2027 in May
The Black Sea coastal city will host the 71st edition of the song contest following Dara's victory.
The European Broadcasting Union and Bulgarian National Television have chosen Burgas to host the 71st Eurovision Song Contest. According to eurovision.com, the semi-finals and grand final will take place on May 11, May 13, and May 15, 2027. Burgas secured the host city role after a bidding process featuring four Bulgarian contenders—Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna, and Burgas—following singer Dara's contest win, according to reports from The Guardian and EBU.
